About us
Founded and managed by engineers with experience in the construction sector.
Having gained experience through surveying and setting out on numerous projects across Ireland, we now have a small team of relied upon engineers to provide our services nationwide.
Our mission is to provide a quality service to our clients in a cost efficient and timely manner and to continue to grow and adapt using new technologies.
What We Provide

Topographic Surveys
We collect data using robotic total stations, 3D laser scanners and high precision GPS units. We then process this data to provide the end user with a reliable survey in AutoCAD or newer deliverables such as Revit.

Setting Out
MCM Ltd. can provide high-accuracy setting out of design elements of buildings and civil works. We provide this service using robotic total stations and GPS units. Some of the common elements we set out are foundation/pads, blockwork, retaining walls, kerbing, chainage, piling and drainage.

Monitoring & Volumetric Surveys
We survey existing sites and stockpiles to provide an accurate report of what is already on site. If required, we can then monitor the existing sites or stockpiles to keep track of what is being moved off site, providing weekly or bi-weekly reports.

Site progress/ drone footage
Tracking sites using aerial imagery and videography can lead to effective planning and communication of progress on a busy site. We can provide weekly updates in a pdf or video format.

Building Energy Ratings (BERs)
A Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate indicates your home’s energy performance on a grading scale. The certificate rates the energy performance of your home on a scale of A-G with A being the highest rating. It is a good indicator of how much you spend and how much carbon you will produce to heat the home.

Air Tightness Tests
An air tightness test is a test to determine the level of uncontrolled air flow through gaps or cracks in the fabric of a building. Too much air leakage leads to unnecessary heat loss and can lead to discomfort to the occupants through cold draughts. Ensuring compliance with Part L, we can guide you through the process and carry out the assessment when it is most convenient for you.
